Khemsa's girdle

A magic item drawn from Robert e Howard's "people of the black circle", Khemsa's girdle is braided out of thick hair that appears to be human interwoven with small bits of jewels. I haven't quite figured out attunement for it yet, perhaps it only attunes to chaotic characters á la Conan. The girdle grants its wearer advantage on saves vs illusion magic but also has  the chance of deflecting damage onto nearby allies in combat situations. The damage deflection activates on a 5 or 6 of a d6 and will apply the damage otherwise inflicted upon the wearer to an adjacent combatant whether friend or foe. In the event that there are multiple combatants adjacent the target may choose the direction of the deflection but may not choose to forego the effect to avoid injury to allies.

Enchanted Head-Vessel

This magical lead vessel has as its primary use a very powerful seal. The lid will only open when the name of the person whose visage it bears is spoken. The fact that its construction is of lead should be a tip to players that its contents are of a magical nature as lead is often used in magic resistant materials. This particular lead head contains most likely Saurian Pitch which leaches poisonous gases (con save 15 or contract Saurian flu) and may be used in abyssal rites. It value to the right magic user (one with an abyssal pact or a Saurian adept) could be as high as 1000 gold bits whereas to anybody else it would fetch no more than 200 silver bits as a collectors item.

The name belonging to the visage could either be revealed by having a separate piece of ephemera in the compound with it, the face could appear in a scroll in a library in a different location, or  there could be a rebus scribed onto the bottom of the head somewhere. 

A detect magic won't penetrate the lead unless the magic user is of a higher level (say 5 or higher e.g.) but an aura of enchantment will appear around the ears as a residual of the magic locking system.

An artifact of the Oamnoi nation, findable in the tumuli of the blood plains. Excellent silver craftsmanship portraying the leaves of  vedwort bush.

Arcana/History Check

The inside lip has engraved upon it "rau" on one side and "waellu" on the other. One familiar with coastal human languages cognate with Oamnoi will deduce that this represents weal and woe.

The only clue as to how to use the scrying vase is the leaves in the decoration. To use fill the vase with vedwort leaves and shake, the leaves will statically cling to either the rau or the waellu. If its being held by a character with any magic ability it has the chance to telepathically give a vague indication of the source of the weal or the woe.

Requires no attunement to use and only emits the faintest magic aura. Any scrying vase found in an Oamnoi tomb is likely to have no more than 1d6 charges left.
